How to participate in the Ohio Preservation Connection program:
- A local OPC partner is required. This can be a unit of local government, a preservation organization, a downtown revitalization/Main Street program, a historical society, a neighborhood association, or any other group focused on preservation or revitalization activities.
- Only one partner is permitted per city or community.
- The partner must be an active organizational member of Preservation Ohio. For details on how to become a member, visit this link.
- The partner must sign a program agreement with Preservation Ohio. This agreement safeguards the technology and knowledge behind the OPC, LPC, and other artificial intelligence tools.
- A virtual training session will be scheduled within three weeks of signing the agreement.
- Basic technology must be available, and the representative should have general internet navigation skills. Advanced coding expertise is not necessary.
